Our Story
Wolf River Lanes has been a cornerstone of entertainment in New London, WI, since its inception in 1967. Originally built as a premier bowling alley, the facility officially opened its doors in 1968, quickly establishing itself as a community favorite. Over the decades, Wolf River Lanes has evolved into a comprehensive entertainment center, offering fun for all ages and interests.
In 1998, the venue expanded its attractions by adding a state-of-the-art arcade, providing family-friendly entertainment beyond traditional bowling. This addition has further cemented Wolf River Lanes as a local hub for recreation and social gatherings. Later, in 2011, a full-service restaurant was incorporated into the facility, complementing the fun-filled experience with a diverse menu featuring wraps, burgers, sandwiches, homemade pizza, and fresh salads from the salad bar. This upgrade made Wolf River Lanes not just a place to bowl but also a destination for delicious food and relaxed dining.
Today, Wolf River Lanes proudly stands as the only bowling alley in the area, serving the greater New London community and surrounding towns. With 12 well-maintained lanes, the alley welcomes casual bowlers and competitive leagues alike. Our facility hosts weekly bowling leagues, catering to players of all ages and skill levels. We also offer special events, birthday parties, and large reservations, making it the go-to spot for celebrations and corporate events.
In May 2025, Aaron Harvey took over the business, ushering in a new era of revitalization, rebuilding, and rebranding. Under his leadership, Wolf River Lanes has been reimagined as a year-round entertainment destination, open every day to serve residents and visitors alike. The rebranding effort integrates the bowling experience with the renowned service of Harvey’s Restaurant, ensuring guests enjoy the best of both worlds—great food, drinks, and endless fun.

I've been there twice since new to leadership took it over a few months ago. The place is so clean now! That goes for the restaurant and the alley. The food and the restaurant is very good and consistent. I'd say it's a higher level of bar food with a touch of supper club. Also you can tell the people working there are just happier.

The new owners are doing a wonderful job with making the place wonderful! Mike; the kitchen manager is especially doing FANTASTIC!!!! He is so kind and has amazing ideas for turning everything around. The new menu items and specials have all been delicious. My husband and I feel like we aren’t a bother when asking questions and ordering anymore.
I love the daily specials and especially the weekly lunch specials. (Taco and pizza bar, salad and soup bar and even the potato bar!)
It’s becoming my favorite place for take out and eating in!
